I have designed low cost mechanisms that when incorporated into computer or traditional desks/workstations, will significantly improve the ergonomic profile of the desk.
This improved, individually customizable, ergonomic adjustability will not only allow a user to experience higher levels of productivity & accuracy, but will also increase his/her overall comfort level. Additionally, it can also help reduce neck, back, arm and leg pain derived from long hours of sitting at a desk. It can also help reduce the negative effects of repetitive motion ailments, such as Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. Basically, my design will bring the ergonomic advantages of a drafting table to the masses. (see Figs. 1 & 2)
My invention is also geared towards professionals working in the Engineering, Architectural, Design, Construction,
Artistic & Laboratory fields as well. (see Figs. 3 & 4)
It can also be used as a laptop stand. (see Fig. 5)
To summarize: Any professional, in any industry, whose primary tools for business are a computer, paper & desk can benefit from the increased productivity, increased user comfort level, reduced medical expenses and reduced work time lost that can be afforded to them by the utilization of my invention!
