Vortex Fire Suppression Cannon

Vortex Fire Suppression Cannon (VFSC) utilizing non-resource consuming fire-fighting technology particularly aimed at large brush or forest fires by way of aircraft supported fire suppression technology. Oddly enough but true; vortex cannons have long been a popular item purchased by children at local toy stores and have been known to extinguish the flame of a candle as far away as 25-feet in distance. Vortex cannons were first utilized in Germany during WWII as antiaircraft artillery.

The idea here is to install vortex cannons onto aircraft for the express purpose of extinguishing large brush or forest fires without consuming valuable resources such as fuel and water or the time required and wasted during refueling water carriers or aircraft refueling. Moreover the VFSC will be affixed to new and innovative propulsion systems similarly described earlier in the authors tech-brief ELECTRA an electrogravitic propulsion system wherein the energy requirements to sustain such a propulsion system are extracted directly from the vehicle’s local environment.

Restrictions of use,

Due to the nature of the vortex cannons ability to swat down fires using a highly charged air generated vortex it might be unwise to make use of this technology on structure fires such as homes or hi-rise complexes as the forces generated by the VFSC might actually knock the building down potentially harming or even killing any would-be occupants or bystanders.

Mechanics of the Vortex Fire Suppression Cannon,

The VFSC might be designed as a simple drum or tube configuration with pan and tilt controls for aiming the device and comprising an automated flexible diaphragm and triggering mechanism housed within said drum. Upon triggering the flex diaphragm the triggering mechanism draws or pulls the diaphragm back to the loaded inhalation position and rapidly discharged achieving maximum suppression forces aimed at rapidly snuffing out fires using only the force of air. Making it much safer and easier for fire fighting personal on the ground to control.

Interesting to note a small amount of water stored within a tank onboard the craft could be injected into the vortex cannon upon discharge aiding in the extinguishing of the fire and preventing hot spots from re-igniting into flames while cutting down on ground personals exposure to heat.

Military and crowd control,

The possibility of crowd control or deterrent technology exists within said technological device by way of non-lethal dispersal of crowds or adversarial militants, just blow the combatant down separate the combatant from and/or away from any military support simply by blowing the combatant’s vehicle over rendering it incapacitated or by separating combatants from their weapons. As anti-ballistics deterrent onboard sea going vessels via projectile deflection system.

Detailed in the photo is the author’s idea comprising a non-resource non-monitory consuming vehicle and fire fighting vortex suppression apparatus comprising pan and tilt aiming controls, vortex drum and vortex triggering device showing an air vortex discharge aimed at and traveling toward and snuffing out a potential fire hazard.
