TRANSPORTING without ACCIDENTS or ENERGY for a few percent of today’s cost is not a structural, technological, or financial problem. Something that could have been crudely achieved without most in the late 1800’s in the ability to produce a 15’ dia. pipe which can smoothly accommodate the transition of vehicles and containers utilizing rails and electric motors. Without nearly all in the 1940’s. And in today’s abilities, not consuming but cleanly generating energy.

An event whose beginning, incremental, and increasing accomplishments will profitably occupy the idled work force and return that lost economy in an unprecedented efficiency of time, energy, and resources which allows them to lead in that global development of a 400% increased market size.

The USA unavoidably spends 80 billion on highways and then annually incurs another 1.1 trillion in just accidents and energy. A short lived low tech infrastructure of pavements whose high cost is exhaustively energy and resource intensive.

The INTEGRATED DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM is a developing concept which is the result of reverse engineering the distribution infrastructures of transport, utilities, and communications into a closed system which is ecologically and environmentally sound. A lucrative opportunity to transform highways into a much smaller and very limited amount of permanent structure. Whose cost is then confined to a much smaller investment (principal and interest). An innovative change whose real benefits are in its unprecedented ability to provide that host of distribution processes with a secure and precisely controlled environment which freely allows them to TECHNOLOGICALLY EVOLVE into those vastly more efficient and enhanced processes that they are so capable of being. A finite cost which is then further divided by automations increased speeds which dramatically increases the usage rate.

Not one exponentially increased efficiency or ability in one process, nor even in each, but a whole multitude that may occur in each and between the now integrated processes.
Not a disruptive innovation as replacing highways will take decades and will be hard pressed to meet the short life spans of today’s processes. The providers of expertise will be the same, only investing less and profiting more in the increased abilities.

Although it may be a lack in awareness. There does seem to be an opportunity to produce the significant funding needed through capturing just some of the increased land values. Land developers know the reliability of exponentially increasing rural property values when joined with implementing a new infrastructural system. An opportunity to coordinate its implementation and to create a string of new and enhanced communities whose unprecedented efficiencies in time, energy, and resources will truly revolutionize that population’s abilities in its social and economic pursuits.

An opportunity to lucratively begin that pragmatic implementation of little more than a modernized infrastructural system that will reliably yield a continuous string of small island communities which are not just energy and resource consumption free, but which have an abundance of time and are ecologically and environmentally sound. Globally duplicable communities with names like Walking Place, Bicycle Path, and Long View.
