As Americans have become more and more concerned about staying healthy, exercising has become a part of daily life for many. Water is essential to the body's normal functioning, especially with increased physical activity. As a result, the demand for portable sources of water has increased dramatically and bottled water has emerged as a leading beverage in the U.S., second only to carbonated soft drinks, generating billions in revenues each year. Yet widespread controversy has arisen over the use of disposable plastic water bottles, which have created a major waste problem. More than 60 million plastic bottles are thrown away on a daily basis, and end up in landfills, incinerators, or as public litter. Reusing these disposable plastic water bottles isn't a viable solution since bacteria quickly grows inside the single-use bottles, and poses a health threat to users. Alternatives to disposable plastic water bottles include buying durable, reusable plastic bottles. But they are usually large and cumbersome to carry around, especially while exercising, hiking, biking, etc. They are also inconvenient since they must be removed from a pocket, pouch, or harness to use, and then put back in after use. There are a variety of waist packs and hydration belts, yet most of these are also bulky, similar to canteens, and awkward to use.

This product, the Beverage Container Belt, is flexable, conveniently worn around the waist, and hands free. FDA approved it considering it will not harm the liquids that are housed in the bladder. You can refrigerate the bladder until ready for use. An excellent way to GO GREEN! There's no littering, medicine can be used if neccessary in the bladder, it will not cause any health problems from the bladder because of the FDA approved material. The beverage container belt also keep your body cool at all times until the liquids have been completed.
