The main aim of this project is to allow students to use an easy, portable and cheap oscilloscope for rapid prototyping purposes. The current oscilloscopes available are very expensive and bulky. They are not suitable for students working on various projects who require an oscilloscope for rapid prototyping. The Android DSO is low cost, portable, wireless (Bluetooth enabled) and user friendly (Plug & Play). The technologies used are all Open Source (Android and Arduino), so the product can be tweaked and configured by the user as per their wishes and requirements. The device is rugged and compact.
