SNC ABSORBER
SNC Absorber is an abbreviation of Sulphur dioxide, Nitrous oxide and Carbon dioxide Absorber. The problem of pollution through automobiles being a major concern for today’s world has lead a dire need of solution to minimize air pollution as much as possible. The major contents of outlet of an engine exhaust of gasoline engine are Carbon Dioxide (CO2), Nitrogen (N2) and Water Vapours. Also, Traces of Carbon Monoxide (CO), Sulphur Dioxide (SO2), Nitrogen Oxides (NxOy) along with some Hydrocarbons and particulate soot. Such gases are responsible for global warming and many other environment damage.

SNC absorber works on simple chemical reactions of converting this gases into compounds like H2SO4, HNO3, CaCO3 etc. and preventing them from going in air. The converted chemicals are easily collectable in a tank and reusable, thereby increasing the productivity and utility of device.

The main chamber consists of water spray nozzle, electric spark device, and a turbine to carry out the final compounds out of the reaction chamber. When the exhaust gases enter the chamber the water nozzle sprays particulate water on it which reacts with these gases. Nitrous oxides (NOx) are converted to nitric acid same way as occurs in clouds with lightning. The Carbon Dioxide and Carbon Monoxide contents are reduced to Calcium Carbonate solution. Now, the sulphur oxides are converted to H2SO4. These all compounds are collected to a tank.

Catalytic Converter has disadvantage of proper warm up time and only works best at stoichiometric point, though releasing 10% more CO2 in air. SNC Absorber has advantage of operating at low temp and all remnants of exhaust gases are absorbed making it more efficient than catalytic converter.

The best part of this device is that all the chemicals needed for reactions are cheap and easily available. Also, the reaction chamber has all appropriate thermal as well as chemical equilibrium to yield complete reactions and providing almost maximum efficiency to chemical reactions.

This device can easily be installed and the water can be pumped in it easily. It is a light weight, with anti-corrosive material lined inside it. Also, it can be used at any petrol/diesel engine along with huge industries. Thus, it’s a device which can be used instead of other anti-pollution kits.
