The government is aiming to make the country a 100 per cent electric vehicle nation but the main problem is creating the charging infrastructure throughout the country, because the charge of the electric automobiles won’t last long. Even though the charging stations are established throughout the country the time taken by the individual vehicle will be more or equal to 5 hours so most the time of traveling must be spent in charging stations.
To make productive recharging time, as an alternative of recharging the battery of vehicles we are going to swap the battery.
The recharging stations should be equipped with the transferrable batteries that can be used in all the vehicles of its kind, by establishing a protocol that can be followed by all the electric vehicle producers. Each Automobile of its category should be equipped with a common type batteries (car, cargos, trucks, LCV etc.) Each battery stations will be supplied with fully charged batteries. The batteries will circulate within the system. When the vehicles come to battery stations which are established in highways like that of tollgates, the drain batteries will be replaced by fully charged batteries with automated or semiautomated /Manually operated systems which use Hydraulics and Electrical Machin drives. The time taken to replace the battery will be less than the time required to refuel the petrol or diesel car. Each vehicle should register with the smart battery card through which batteries can be exchanged in stations. Costumers will be charged depending on the power used by the car, by measuring the battery power at the time of deliver and exchange. Network will be built in such a way that the distance between any stations should be less than are equal to the maximum distance that can covered by electric cars in single charge. The battery stations should be capable to issue the battery to the vehicles, by differentiating the sections based on type of vehicles and its specifications Ex: car, cargos, trucks etc. The drained batteries are collected and reserved for charging near the battery charge stations where fast mass charging facility should be established.
Many peoples don’t like to buy electric cars due to reason that it can’t be driven for long period and far distances, even though fast charging facilities may be available but they consume time in hours, this project completely eradicate this negative of the people towards electric zero emission vehicles. And allow everyone to travel across the country without the fear of recharging.
This project also concentrates on production of single seater ecofriendly cars for city provinces for comfort drive in affordable prizes almost equal to a two-wheeler cost.
