Drive module combining in one reducer and motor, which is not driven not by a rotating magnetic field, but the forces of magnetic attraction and repulsion generated between the current in coils and permanent magnets. The design is shown in the attached figures, where fig. 1 is sectional view of the axis of the drive module, fig 2 is a section A-A of fig 1.

The operation of the drive module is as follows: When supplying current to the divided into two parts coil 9, due the interaction of current and permanent magnets 6 plates 5 and associated cycloid wheel with internal teeth 4 move on the plates 8 serving as a guides and wheel 4 engage with wheel 3.Then pulse applied to the divided into two parts coil 13, due the which the wheel 4 is moved perpendicular to the first movement on the plates 12 serving as a guides of the plates 8 and engages at another point of the wheel 3 connected to the output shaft 1, mounted in the housing 2. Since the wheel 4 is not rotatable but only for plane movement (two mutually perpendicular guides), the wheel 3 and the associated output shaft rotate. Coil 13 connected to the plates 12 connected to the housing 2. Then current is applied to the coil 9 in the opposite direction of the current supplied the first time (exchange of poles "+" and "-") and the wheel 4 moves in the opposite direction to the first movement and engage at another point by turning wheel 3. We supply current to coil 13 in the opposite direction to the previous pulse and wheel 3 has already rotated 1/z1 rpm where z1 gear ratio of the cycloid gear - i=z1 /(z2 - z1), z2 - z1 =1, where z1 - number of teeth on wheel 3, z2 - teeth on wheel 4 The advantages of this drive module are:

  1. Combining the functions of motor and gearbox in one, which eliminates the need for two separate coupling them to each other. In this gear, not one, but 40% of the teeth engage at the same time, which allows to achieve a large gear ratio and high torque at small dimensions.
  2. The movement is caused not by rotating magnetic field, but the forces of magnetic attraction and repulsion generated between the current in coils and permanent magnets,which greatly simplifies the design and this reduces the costs and facilitates production
  3. The control of this type of drive module is much more simple-we change the frequency of the pulses supplied to the coils, which does not change the torque.
  4. Whith this drive module is not necessary to install an additional brake, because when powering a coil, without change supply, the interaction between the current in coil and permanent magnets serves as a brake on the module.

As a result production costs are reduced many times over, which makes the product extremly competitive whith the well-known drive modules and motors.
