We created plastic.

The world will never be the same, since plastic has been taking a significant role in our lives.  Everything in our world is made of plastic. We are addicted to it.

Between 1950 and 2015, the world produced 8.3 billion tons of plastic, 6.3 billion of which is now landfills. Only 9% of plastic waste is recycled, 12% is destroyed, and the remaining 79% ends up in landfills or in the environment.

We drown in it.

Every year, humanity produces more than 2 billion tons of waste. Nearly 300 million tons of the waste is plastic, half of which is single-use. Much of this waste ends up in landfills and oceans.While sending waste to landfills might keep it out of sight, it can create severe environmental issues, as well as health concerns in local communities. As trash decomposes, it creates what’s known as leachate, a toxic liquid that pollutes the air and water. Landfills are also one of the driving factors behind methane gas, a powerful greenhouse gas that traps heat in the atmosphere.

One of the reasons why garbage is not recycled is the low level of employment in the field of sorting recyclables, due to low wages.  For instance, I would like to refer to Kazakhstan, where workers in this field receive from 34,000 to 85,000 tenge ($75 to $178). Therefore waste sorting is not done carefully.

In the century of technology, process automation is especially relevant.  That is why I offer equipment -- Sorqorap.

Sorqorap is waste sorting equipment without human intervention. As the garbage is sent inside the container, it will be sorted in a certain amount.  In the future, with the help of sensors with artificial intelligence, the material and what type of waste it belongs to will be determined.  At this stage, waste types go through five categories: biological, paper, glass, plastic, and building materials.  Each category is indicated by a different color: black, green, yellow, red, blue.  Thanks to it the sorting process will be carried out much more efficiently in factories specialized in waste sorting. Moreover the companies will not be needed in workers,seeing as monotonous process will have been halted.

The advantage of this equipment is not complicated assembly.  The creation of this type of waste sorter is simple, and accordingly the price will be lower compared to similar products.
