The objective of our entry is to fund a project where the Sunglass Fix Pty Ltd’s can recycle its by-products (waste) into an innovative and profitable product. Lens offcuts from our lens manufacturing business will be melted down and used to form sunglass frames made from this recycled material.

The sun visor in all of our vehicles was initially invented in 1931. No major design changes or improvements in over 90 years! According to NHTSA sun glare causes approximately 9,000 crashes a year.
Problem:
Current sun visors are a manual system unsuitable for safety, cumbersome to use, and don't cover all areas of the windshield or side windows.

The research focuses on configuring a simple home security framework using a PIR sensor (Passive Infra-Red) in combination with a microcontroller. The framework aims to detect and monitor the area, responding effectively to security threats.
OSIP is a modular test/measurement instrument that has full galvanic isolation, an embedded computer, a high power PSU within a 3U rack mount Eurorack chassis while being flexible and having room for improvements to be done by the end-user.
