Crest Robotics' Robotic Puller is a new product for the energy sector designed to assist linemen and riggers with maintaining and upgrading our energy infrastructure. As an evolution on an existing product known as a 'traction motor,' our puller is lighter, stronger, more efficient, and more intelligent, enabling safer and more cost-effective operations.
Atomiq is developing a next-generation plasma-based propulsion system, presenting a cutting-edge technology that redefines transportation. The utilization of plasma as a propellant introduces unprecedented efficiency and versatility, addressing the limitations of traditional propulsion methods. The technology delves into the underlying principles, key components, and recent breakthroughs in gravity relativity,
Designing an airport blast pad equipped with carbon dioxide (CO2) powder for emergency landings represents a significant leap forward in aviation safety infrastructure. This innovative concept aims to enhance the airport's ability to swiftly and effectively respond to critical incidents during aircraft emergencies, ensuring the safety of passengers, crew, and ground personnel alike.
Highly capable small UAVs provide substantial business opportunity, especially if allowed to operate in the suburban market. Reliability issues force the use of a safety pilot for each vehicle in operation, which is cost-prohibitive for large scale commercial applications and limits the use of these vehicles to line-of-site (LOS) operation.
Dezeyer: Insight the Future
WHY IT MATTERS: I recently took a refresher training course on the widely applied APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) process and was reminded again how little time and effort most organizations spend researching what products and services will be desired in the future, then applying that knowledge.
During REM (Rapid Eye Movement), dreams are formed. In the amazing neurological phenomena of sleep, the brain combines sensory information to create vivid, sometimes strange stories. This thesis explores the complex processes behind this process, with particular attention to the dynamic interactions across brain areas connected to emotions, senses, and memory.
Wood has long been a cornerstone material in construction and design, yet traditional subtractive manufacturing methods often result in significant wood waste and elevated production costs. In contrast, additive manufacturing reduces material waste and production costs significantly, as it builds structures layer by layer, using only the necessary amount of material.
Liver diseases affect approximately one third of the worldwide adult population, and often remain undiagnosed until reaching severe stages due to the liver's lack of pain sensors. The current gold standard, biopsy, is invasive, expensive, and unsuitable for wide-scale screening. Non-invasive alternatives like ultrasound elastography can address this screening need.
For some modern-days applications (as microrobotic [1,2]) there is a need for compact power sources. We suggest a novel approach based on smart low-symmetry materials. They can generate DC and pulsed high voltage without any electronics with versatile power supplies (sunlight, laser, heat/cold, mechanical stress).
Neuromarketing is the key to a deep understanding and insight into the mosaic of the consumer's inner world. It is a study that uses neurobiology, psychology and economics to analyze the cognitive processes and behavior of customers. Neuromarketing helps to understand preferences, predict the results and effectiveness of advertising campaigns.
How does it work?
