PROBLEM:

We can do somethings to mitigate and contain the spread of infectious diseases. The first thing is always to understand what they'ree, how they're transmitted and how they affect ourselves. A clear example is the SARS-COV2 coronavirus.

To avoid this issue, I have proposed the development and use of this application: "Health Monitoring in Home with IoT". In this system we can contact the medical service, then they can monitor our vital signs via IoT, and finally we follow the indications of the doctors.

SOLUTION:

E-health becomes one of the Internet's products for healthcare. This system can monitoring the patient's condition based on medical parameters from a far distance such as temperature, pulse and oxygenation. Internet of things became the main concept in this system, which combines wearable sensors, communication systems, and user interfaces. This system is reliable and valid, easily carried, helping the doctor to monitor patients from far distance expectantly to overcome this kind of problems. I will develop this system, and here we will go step by step from testing the hardware to testing several IoT servers.

Through this device, the data will be sent to the cloud server database. The system for healthcare is shown in the figure attached. After data is sent to the cloud, they use several algorithms for data processing that will determine the level of patient health. With this algorithms doctors and medical personnel can find out whether the patient's condition is worsening or is better.

HARDWARE:

  • Arduino Nano 33 IoT Development Board
