This is a concept for a new type of gas turbine engine that was designed for turbo electric power generation for hybrid aircraft, ie commercial airliners. The main idea was to reduce the cost, complexity and maintenance requirements of traditional gas turbine engine while drastically improving fuel efficiency and emissions reduction.
This conceptual design is one of the futuristic designs in my thoughts.
My design is for an E- VTOL ( ELECTRIC- VERTICAL TAKE OFF LANDING) Vehicle, which can operate in small areas, without using a runway. Takeoff and landing is done at the same place using turbopropellers, and maneuvering at low altitude, and maintaining safety.
In my thoughts,
Orbiter mid deck is circular. Its floor has a spheric section curve of very large radius, as if it were a piece of a giant sphere hundreds of feet in diameter. Its imaginary center of revolution is hundreds of feet above.
Deck revolves, rather than rotate as in earlier concepts for artificial gravity spacecraft.
Communication in space is becoming increasingly critical, be it between satellites, from satellites to ground or even to/from the Moon or Mars. Current approaches use radio waves that spread quickly resulting in very small capacity: The data rate from the Mars orbiter is a few kbit/s, which is lower than the first-generation home modems decades ago. An optimized spaceship for the 21st century
Up to now spaceships were conditioned by missile shapes, with multistage launchers and relatively small payload capability conditioned by the cylindrical fairing dimensions. Such conditions could be drastically changed by a proposed new vehicle with a different shape: the ring.

My submission is for a carbon neutral commercial aircraft propulsion. The propeller aircraft gave way to the jet mainly due to the large speed difference between the two. Propellers became inefficient at higher speeds such as Mach .8 and the available piston engine technology of the 50’s had insufficient power, and were bulky and heavy.
I want to reduce airplane loss of control accidents. While most general aviation accidents have lessened in recent decades, loss of control has not improved. Some accidents happen because the flyer's imagination does not match reality. Since the air is invisible, our imaginations could be wrong. I have seen the air made visible by sparse, oversize and buoyant snowflakes.
Current drone flight approval and evaluation is frustrating both for authorities and drone operators as well. Every single flight plan consumes roughly 40 man hours to the authorities and spans within a week or two limiting scalability. In the future where 30,000 flights are expected only above Sofia this process is more than archaic.
