SkyWay is a new mode of transportation intended to address all of the failures of today's surface transportation. Whether it's trains, or cars or buses; whether it's walking, cycling or running; it is "unsafe at any speed" on our roads and highways. Why? Humans are merely human. Mistakes happen. Streets are congested. People are in a hurry.
Building a robust EV charging infrastructure is essential to support the electrification of transport. EV charging currently faces many challenges for mainstream adoption around the world. A personal flying vehicle without wings would greatly diminish the need for ground travel. Lifting, flight, and landing power could be supplied with multiple blades that circle the body of the craft between the outer perimeter and an enclosing cover.
