The high cost of carbon nanotube (CNT) materials stifles broader access to energy applications. Also, CNTs are mainly produced in Asia, whilst the majority of customers are in Europe or the USA, implying large shipping costs and potential for supply chain disruption. In addition, plastic recycling systems struggle with mixed streams and are not environmentally sensitive.
I have designed an UVC air filter that actively sterilizes the air without the need to evacuate the room. It involves a duct fan which draws air through a physical filter on the intake at the bottom. The filter eliminates dust. This increases the efficiency of the UVC sterilization.
The J&R Project, Infectious Agent Disinfection with Nanoplasma, is based on 30 years of basic and applied research in electromagnetic bioeffects and pathogenic microbial decontamination.
