Individual device/appliance backup power unit with Rechargeable battery (BUPURB).
Utilizing a small product package, I see the need for a small (i.e., USB cube, smartphone, or multi plug strip size) and inexpensive ($10) rather than a large centralized generator or large battery unit for powering everything costing $1000's.
The relationship between manufacturers and countries around the world from 1979 with environmental emissions laws as well as the globalization of manufacturing showed that not everyone due to their domestic economies can have the same product worldwide. The same applies to CO emissions;

Located in the tropical waters of the Atlantic would be a vast field of floating solar collectors, providing power for electrodes submerged in the seawater. At the cathodes, hydrogen is collected and piped to compressors and liquified for shipping. The compressors are also powered by the solar collectors.
Pollution is a powerful thing. It's hard to manage and is very bad for our Earth. My solution to this problem is a very sturdy machine I call a garbage disposal. It's built from 9 different motors just to turn into 3 different motors. Our factories use these types of DC motors every day.
Update to the Storm Wave Mitigation Project
We had access to a CFD application where we simulated the effect of an Edinburgh Duck facing a wavefront. This is captured in the sidebar with the solid white bar representing the oncoming wave front.
The project consists of using the current demanded by the cities and using it for the generation of hydrogen using current to voltage transformers.
The amount of hydrogen generated by this system will depend on the consumption of the electrical network and the capacity of the current transformers.
Whenever a plane touches the ground, rubber is pulverized from the tires until they adhere to the ground.
Small electric motors may be used to rotate the wheels such that their peripheral speed matches the plane speed at landing to avoid them sliding at initial touch. This avoids the tires wear and extends their number of landings.
My proposal is that we install turbines on city water lines to generate electricity since there is a constant flow of water. The turbines cam be placed at various locations throughout the city to provide electricity to power stations for electric cars.
