What problem does your design idea solve?
·Typical Hybrid cars run on gas and batteries; two fuel sources. Now they carry the heavy loads of an internal combustible engine, gasoline fuel, alternator and storage batteries.
·Solar cars have the same problems; the weight of solar panels, alternator / battery charger and storage batteries.
This idea combines 3 forms of energy usage into 1 yielding a reduction in electric and gas consumption. Heated water is used by every household and, in many parts of the world, AC (air conditioning) is used for several months of the year.
Many older buildings including homes are constructed or painted with dark, heat collecting materials that increase the cooling costs in the summer months and do little to heat the home or building in the winter months.
The system use the refrigeration cycle principle working in reverse by the refrigerant absolving heat from sun panels and the refrigerant cooling from earth buried heat exchanger (liquidification). Under the refrigeration cycle principals the temperature difference is converted in pressure difference,
I haven't driven a car since November of 2009 and I use my bicycle as my primary mode of transportation. During these past months I realized that my iPhone would run out of power while riding my bike using GPS navigation and stopping to take pictures, surf the web, play games, call, watch videos and listen to music.
This entry seeks to draw attention to the looming crisis plug-in automobiles will have on our outdated, inadequate electrical grid infrastructure. For any benefit to be gained from plug-in automobiles, adoption rates will have to be substantial enough to cause severe stress to our already overtaxed electrical grid.
Solar Power Collector, Above or Below the Solar Elliptic Plane
NASA & the Department of Energy need to work together to develop space based Solar Power Collectors [SPC] that are off the planetary solar elliptic. This is energy that has never been available to the Earth. Power/Energy is the real currency of the world, Dollars should become Sollars;
The Massive Nibble© Zero Pollution Engine™ (ZPE©) will take solar power to a whole new level. It’s a new, very simple, much more efficient Stirling heat engine design, that can be made with a power density exceeding that of internal combustion engines and can be rebuilt indefinitely.
When a home owner installs a Photo-Voltaic (PV) system to generate renewable solar power, he/she must sign a contract with the power provider. In addition, the home owner must pay the power provider the cost of a new 2-channel meter and its installation – not a small price.
The Zero Pollution Aircraft Engine© (ZPAE©) from Massive Nibble© will be the world’s first solar-powered engine targeting both the private and commercial aircraft markets. The ZPAE© is a new, much more efficient Stirling heat engine configuration that can be rapidly and precisely throttled. It can make power with any heat. Solar, renewable fuels, bio-diesel, etc.
