Composite materials are gaining widespread use in aerospace, automotive, wind energy and other industries because of their high strength-to-weight ratio. However, composite structures are highly prone to impact damage. Very often, the presence and extent of the damage is hidden from view,
Talk about 3-D printing is everywhere, however it’s old news.
Every laser printer deposits and fuses a layer of ink onto a page that is easily felt with the fingertips and is, in fact, printing in the third dimension.
BACKGROUND:
Precise localization is a prime safety requirement for SAFETY of any mobile vehicle (aircraft, rolling stock, car, coach, truck, etc.) and people (as per emergency, earthquakes, etc.) today.
The objective of the study was to redesign a photovoltaic ground mounting structure because the actual frame is not optimized. We used DEM software.
Italian legislation has stipulated that a photovoltaic ground mounting structure must resist four types of loads and their combination case: self-weight, wind,
The object of this project is to build a better 3-wheeled vehicle by using a virtual axis steer system (VASS) on the one front wheel of a (1F2R) trike.
This system is designed for use as an inexpensive high performance, all weather, high gas mileage, safe,
New Orleans, Louisiana (NOLA) was flooded due to a breach in the levee.

Automatic gear change for bicycle. Rotation sensor (magnetic or optical, counts teeth) on chain ring. Optimum pedal speed = 90 r.p.m. tired/fresh, athlete/slob, makes no difference. Gear changes to keep pedal speed optimum. Rear (and front maybe) mech has actuator (motor and screw on parallelogram) and position sensor.
This concept is a design to eliminate the low pressure area to the rear of a semi traileer van. The purpose is to reduce the drag created when the vehicle is in motion causing a reduction in fuel economy.
