Inspired by: Problems are bread and butter to inventors: without them we have little or nothing to do. Finding problems is facilitated by discussions with prominent surgeons, often with a bit of social lubricant, and by viewing surgeries live. Problems that the doctors themselves may not recognize, or believed insurmountable, are exposed for study with a scotch or two.
