Sol-Stak is an open, small system, embedded prototyping paradigm.
We do a lot of prototyping across multiple vendor systems. Reference designs and software support for these systems are a fragmented, multi-standard, multi-faceted, mess.
Prototyping embedded systems has very particular focus and objectives.
I will try to add a drawing I made several years ago, but this conceptual design is easy to visualize.
Basically this is a rocket launch double escape system conceptual design. The double escape system may also be used for re-entry.
The Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo rockets all employed a launch escape system.
Drowning is the second leading cause of death for children, and most occur in residential swimming pools. On average, 5,100 children are treated for submersion ijuries each year, and 383 pool related fatalities reported per year involving children younger than 15 years of age. 76% of reported fatalities were children younger than 5 years of age.
