A tether having a fully modular design and employing modular components can be transported piecemeal into space and assembled in situ. The modular components are interchangeable with one another. In a preferred embodiment, the modular components are designed to facilitate robotic assembly in situ for constructing the entire tether while in orbit.
Use of holmium lasers to break-up kidney stones has grown steadily in popularity from its inception in the late 1980s. Small diameter, multimode optical fibers are threaded through a flexible ureteroscope through the urethra,
It may be that attitude, drinking, inexperience, coordination, balance, or speeding by the driver cause many motorcycle accidents but in many more cases it is the unseen car driver that can't or doesn't see the cycliist; and, many times from the right front at pull-out or intersection.
My Hovercraft has the capability to operate over almost any flat surface including shallow water, ice, vegetation, mud, logs and debris, rapids and flood plains. Hovercraft are marine vessels which operate by creating a cushion of air between the hull of the vessel and the surface below.
Biological microscopic imaging technology has important applications in new drug development, cell biology research, tissue pathology analysis, environmental monitoring and other fields. We aim to developing multi-dimensional high resolution digital imaging and analytical instruments for the above mentioned applications.
Based upon existing biological microscope technologies,
Multi-Mode Hybrid Subsonic/Supersonic/Pulse Detonation Combustion Engine System:
This engine functions as an Expansion-Cycle Turbojet for takeoffs and landings (for noise reasons). Then transitions through Pulse-Detonation Turbojet, Pulse-Detonation Ramjet, Supersonic-Combustion Ramjet, and Pulse-Detonation Rocket as it accelerates into earth orbit.
Design:
MULTIVODE™ is an irrigation appliance shaped as a multi-layer composite (packed in a roll) designed to store and deliver irrigation water using hydrogel particles of fraction 0.5 to 2.00 mm.
