Brake is a necessary part in any vehicle. In general, the essential break pad attributes are low compressibility, good resistance to severe temperatures, and good resistance to abrasion. The constituents of the brake pads should guarantee the required properties of the frictional material in the braking systems. The constituents of a brake pad are divided into following categories: binder,
The Carplane® is a bi-modal air/road convergence vehicle, currently under construction at the Research Airport in Braunschweig, Germany.
Its primary market is the BRICS countries where inadequate road infrastructure and traffic congestion impede individual transport. Just like emerging economies solved their communications challenges by installing cheap transmission masts (rather than costly land-lines), the Carplane® uses easily-cleared,
The project focus was to develop next-generation solid-sphere prillings that have secondary and tertiary matrixes comprised of microcrystalline hydrocarbon nano particles for use as an advanced hybrid rocket fuel based on liquid layer hybrid combustion theory. We produced prillings in sizes ranging from .25um to 8000um using synthetic PCM's that are highly stable.
Of major concern to food producers is the waste of costly spices and flavorings lost and non-recoverable during the manufacturing process. In the cooking/packaging processes spices/flavorings are sprayed onto products such as potato chips, corn chips or cookie-bars in liquified or aerosolized form.
The structure of a spacecraft is designed to support the maximum quasi-static loads (accelerations) that it will be subjected to during its launch phase. These loads are a combination of the steady-state static loads and low frequency sinusoidal loads.
Quasi-static loads can be used to dimension the spacecraft,
