There are about 60,000 MW of undeveloped hydro power in the US today (HR-267) and there are similar circumstances throughout the World. Any turbine under 10 meters of head or less than 10 m3/sec of water flow is so inefficient that they are not cost effective. Also, Western drought conditions have reduced historical hydro electrical production by 10%.
NASA Langley researchers, in work spanning more than a decade, have developed a portfolio of technologies for low-temperature gas catalysis. Originally developed to support space-based CO2 lasers, the technology has evolved into an array of performance capabilities and processing approaches, with potential applications ranging from indoor air filtration to automotive catalytic converters and industrial smokestack applications.

NASA’s Langley Research Center researchers have developed a measurement acquisition system that uses magnetic fields to provide power to sensors and to acquire physical property measurements from them. Unlike traditional acquisition devices, this system has the ability to make multiple measurements of different, non-related physical properties without the constraint of a limited number of data acquisition channels.
POWERLOOM
A powerloom was designed by Edmund Cartwright in 1785 .The control of powerloom is controlled by a line shaft. The purpose of powerloom is to weave the clothes which is used for different purposes. The main components of loom are warp beam, take up roll, shuttle, reed, heddles, cam, line shaft, pulley, dead weight.
The design that I am going to explain about is quite simple and also easy to understand. The main purpose of this design is to bring down the overall fuel consumption of the engine and also reduce the pollutants level.
