Very little has been done to improve the thermal efficiency of the internal combustion engine. Significant quantities of heat are lost through the radiator exhaust system and catalytic converter, all of which reduce the efficiency of the OTTO CYCLE ENGINE to about 30%. The 70% loss represents tremendous potentials for improvements.
Modern high-efficiency light bulbs such as compact fluorescents and Light Emitting Diode (LED) bulbs look very different from conventional, vintage, or antique incandescents. However, sometimes, the appearance of an incandescent bulb, with its glowing filament is highly desirable. Reproduction incandescent bulbs are still made and have a growing market (NYTimes, 6/7/10 ) despite consuming electricity extremely inefficiently,
1. Replace the internal combustion engine with electric motor propulsion systems. 2. Replace the current electrical power production system we now have in place, including the national grid network, with individual systems. 3. Replace the current way we use batteries for power. With the following Invention:
Electric Motor / Generator system, including three magnetic rotors, with synchronized rotation,
Everybody is a witness to what is going on in the gulf of Mexico, millions of gallons of fuel are leaking from a broken pipe from a BP offshore drilling platform. It is only getting bigger and is now worse than anyone thought. The oil spill has now surpassed BP's "worst case scenario,
For diabetics, an under-dosing insulin injection before eating is hazardous. The resulting hyperglycemia (high levels of sugar in the blood), if persistent, can result in damage to nerves, blood vessels and organs which can lead to more serious complications such as higher susceptibility to infections, inability to heal, kidney damage or loss, heart damage,
One problem with serial data cabling is capacitance between either the signal and return lines or signal and shield such as with coaxial cables. My idea is to use decoy signals to absorb the brunt of transmission line capacitance, freeing up the desired signal to be clean and sharp at the receive end. How it works is simple.
This is the transmission of electricity via wireless, which has been brought about by the use of diesel and petrol powered cars.
Inventor Alleyne developed this clever innovation, which is a specialized device that easily removes thumbtacks from bulletin boards and securely retains them as to prevent them from falling onto the floor. The device has a handgrip on one end and an adapted slot with an angled projection to slide under the head of a thumbtack on the other end.
The inhabitants of the earth will continue to experience a declining availability of fossil fuels. As consumption of these fossil fuels contribute to global warming through emissions of CO2 there is a rising demand for “cleaner” energy. Advancements have been made towards cleaner energy through the harnessing of solar and wind energy. However,
The Pulsed Turbine Transvector Jet Propulsion concept is a recently developed adaptation to the Pulsed Turbine Rotor Engine and The Pulsed Turbine Jet Propulsion concept that was introduced to the 2008 Create the Future Design Contest.
