Effect of Hydrogen Supplementation on 40% SVO-Diesel Blend on Performace, Combustion and Emission Characteristics of an IDI CI Engine
The objective of this project is to provide the effects of using blend of Straight Vegetable Oil (SVO) with diesel in proportion of 40 % by volume, with different mass shares of hydrogen supplementation, on the Performance, Combustion and Emission characteristics of a naturally aspirated, IDI CI engine. The experimental tests were recorded in five loading conditions (i.e., 20%, 40%, 60%, 80% and 100%) and at constant engine rpm. The fuel injection pressure was set at 210 bar for all the readings.
