High pressure gas cylinders must by law at all times be secured by strap or chain to prevent them from falling over and breaking the valves and becoming deadly missiles. There are many acceptable methods from a simple chain or rope tied to a bolt on a cabinet to more complex strapped systems that allow the movement of the device to tables and benches.

Device for preventing injury or death by electric shock

This design is for preventing the chances of getting electric shock to an electrician or operator performing troubleshooting or maintenance work in a office or industry. The device is basically based on principle of communication over power line. The complete system consists of two units: a fixed receiver and a transmitter in the form of a wrist band.

How does your design work?
Pedestrians wear OSHA approved OnGuardTM Safety Vests (Orange or Yellow) embedded with 20m range RFID tags. Within the petrochemical industries, the risk of violent, hazardous events caused by a chemical reaction is reduced by the use of a Safety Instrumented System (SIS). These SISs are made up of Safety Instrumented Functions (SIFs) which each monitor a particular parameter and will force the process to a safe state if the parameter’s value exceeds its safe operating limits. If all of the SIFs in SISs would always function correctly, hazardous events would never occur -- no industry worker would ever get hurt or killed.
