Energy saving roof

Good roof and good heating/cooling system is inevitable for every house. Heating and cooling consumes lot of energy. Cost of energy is permanently increasing and fuel resources are limited so solar energy has to be used more extensively. Properly designed roof system can protect house against bad weather and harvest energy of environment for heating.

Energy savings for elevated temperature process openings

Problem: heat load increases and temperature uniformity decreases in the area of process openings for both indexing (Fig. 1) and continuous equipment (Fig. 2)

Causes: Equipment typically maintained with slight negative to contain process fumes and POC from direct fired heating systems.

Solution: Cross between non-recirculating and recirculating air curtain.

Energy Tree

The "ENERGY TREE" project combines 3 Renewable Energy Sources i.e. Wind, Solar and Geothermal energies into a single, functional and eco-integral unit, a TREE. Recreating one of nature's most beautiful designs, the project encompasses designing and building an artificial tree whose bark and leaves capture Solar energy,

Firewater spark plug

Very little has been done to improve the thermal efficiency of the internal combustion engine. Significant quantities of heat are lost through the radiator exhaust system and catalytic converter, all of which reduce the efficiency of the OTTO CYCLE ENGINE to about 30%. The 70% loss represents tremendous potentials for improvements.

Fish Friendly Hydro Power

My invention is a fish friendly hydro power system. Traditional hydro power use dams and rotating turbines to produce power. Both of these can have negative environmental impacts. My invention uses no blades or other rotating machinery. Instead the system takes advantage of the Venturi effect. The same principle that generates lift in aircraft wings.

Flexible Intelligent Power Systems (FLIPS)

Buy and store energy at the cheapest rates, and use it at anytime.

The Problem:

Power companies often provide different rates based on time of day. Rates are often the lowest during the night and early morning. But this is not always convenient for most people, such as doing the laundry at 1AM. How to take advantage of this situation?

Galvanochemical Process of Water Treatment and Substances Production

Galvanochemical process can be used for water treatment and decontamination, as well as for production of a vast rage of chemicals and compounds, such as oxides, hydroxides, salts, etc.

One of the driving forces in the galvanochemical process are ferrous and ferric ions, because they are responsible for transforming chromium ions (6+) to (3+),
