Millions of plastic bottles end up in disposal landfills. When plastics break down, they don't biodegrade, they photodegrade. This means the materials break down to smaller fragments. These readily absorb toxins which contaminate soil, waterways, and animals upon digestion. The solution is to embrace a cultural shift away from use-and-toss mentality.
Although there are a number of cello cases availalbe on the market for the hundreds of thousands of student cellists, there is currently a sizable gap in the cost of these cases.
