THE PROBLEM
While driving my four door sedan I like to lower the rear windows slightly using the electronic window control feature that came with my car. This control feature is pretty much standard on most new cars and makes lowering or raising the rear windows a lot easier while driving.
This project is developed to save human life, based on a friction safety system. In 2010 about 4,935 people were killed riding motorcycles of different kinds. One-fourth of these motorcycle accidents were single vehicle accidents involving the motorcycle colliding with the roadway or some fixed object in the environment.
SafeDrive is a smart widget that detects if a car driver is sleeping at the wheel by computing the blinking frequency and face orientation.
The widget has to be placed on the sun visor of the driver by means of a clip and point the camera to the driver's face.
