The objective will be the design and construction of an “Ambulatory Ice Cream Vending Machine, with integrated Refrigeration, moved by Human Power”. The project will be part of a student group of Mechanical Engineering, of the University UTESA, Dominican Republic. The team will be lead by Prof. Eduardo Sagredo.
The current backpack frame used by the US military is called the MOLLE II system. It is a rigid piece of plastic that acts as an anchoring point for straps and packs, sometimes holding upwards of 120 pounds of gear. APEframe is an Articulated Pad, External Frame that furthers the MOLLE system of strap connections and modularity.
