Aerodynamic disks accelerate air flow through roof-mounted heat exchangers to enhance operating efficiency of air conditioning units of tall buildings. Conservative estimates based on wind tunnel tests indicate 26% increase in COP (Coefficient of Performance). Project consulting architect calculated the air conditioning requirements for a 200 ft. high 400,000 ft2 office area building. Using local industrial fabrication and installation estimates, the required 20 ft diameter disk could be sold for $30,000 installed, including overhead and administrative costs. Extremely conservative estimates of $10,000 (probably $15,000-20,000) energy cost savings annually recover the initial expense in 1.5 - 3 years. Disk use by 5% of 3 million U.S. commercial buildings yields both energy cost savings and new industrial-business operations of considerable interest ...

The AIR furniture system represents a breakthrough in furniture design by achieving several important goals.
1-Utilize recycled PET bottle wastes contributing to a greener environment
2-Utilize 3d printing technology, allowing production anywhere without the need of centralized manufacturing facilities
3-Manufacturing furniture whose weight is less than 10% of conventional ones, rendering them manually easily movable
.4-Break the cost barrier, making them affordable to low income people since their production cost should range from 2 to 4 $ for the most complicated single furniture. If we can purchase an entire set of furniture for less than 40 dollars, we will initiate a revolution that may affect many other products that could completely change if the design attitude and mentality can be ...

High density algae production module – sustainable technology

ALL RIGHTS RESERVED Letsgo Corp Barry Stewart
This innovation increases algae production over 1000% per sq foot vs open air ‘standard’ surface rates of less than 3/8” deep. A cluster of enclosed cellular tubes, each with a laminated custom wavelength light source, creates a constant ideal algae biomass growth environment.

This production module overcomes many of the principle commercialization challenges of conventional algae biomass production, which include:
- seasonal production - large water areas conversion to algae production, - algae genetic control - bio-mass collection systems for open water - sufficient production to make regional or on-site bio-oil extraction financially viable.

Base modules are 4 feet by 4 feet by ...

AmWisp offers instant, self-powered communications infrastructure and business continuity planning for any situation. It can be used to access High Speed Internet almost anywhere in the world, including areas without existing infrastructure. It can also be used for security systems and HD broadcasting, including camera hosting in remote locations where structured cable for data and power is too costly or inaccessible.
AmWisp has partnered with a world-renowned, U.S. military prime contractor to manufacture and streamline production of our device. Our manufacturer will provide full support on all data agreements and offer direct support for each unit.

AmWisp is portable, instant, self-sustaining communications. It truly is Internet everywhere. It can be powered by renewable, self-sustaining, green energy sources. It has ...

In conventional burners, after initial mixing of gas and air in a mixing tube, the second stage mixing is arranged inside space of perforated burner head but high quality mixing is not possible in such process.

In newly designed burner, the main mixing tube is fitted with burner barrel tangentially at 30 degree inclination with the barrel horizontal axis so that, perfect homogeneous mixing of pre-flame mixture can be achieved due to swirling motion of mixture inside of barrel. For swirling motion of flame, residential time of flame in contact with cooking pot bottom is also increased.

Another problem with typical LPG commercial cooking burners using single venturi type mixing tube is that, as cross sectional area of venturi ...

With the growing demands of human needs the utilisation of conventional energy has increased tremendously. Consequently environmental issues like global warming etc. have risen. Keeping these facts in view we are preparing a model to present an idea on how the daily energy requirement can be fulfilled in a more practical, feasible and economical way by converting mechanical energy of vibration into electric energy.

In our project we are using piezoelectric material which we are going to apply on railway platform, runways, beneath the tiles of temple, road to generate electricity. imagine the number of people on railway platform.., if we are getting electricity by just walking then why not to switch to this technique.. , same is in ...

Today, solar cells are one of the most important applications of solar energy. But these solar cells face a serious problem because its efficiency cannot exceed 20%. This means solar cells are characterized with high cost or low quality. So we aim to make the sun rays to be perpendicular to plate face. This can be achieved by developing a device that can track the sun all day accurately and keep it in the perpendicular direction with respect to the solar cells plate. This device is called “Astrological Sun Tracker”.

The sun tracking became of high necessity for increasing the efficiency and reducing the cost of photovoltaic systems and solar concentrators. This system is used for maximizing the normal ...

The Industrial Revolution started with James Watt's steam engines, but did you know they were atmospheric ones? It was not the fuel that gave the output work of his machines, but the atmosphere instead. The fuel was only needed to generate steam and an under-pressure by condensing it, against which the atmosphere did the greater work - it's an established fact!

With today's sophisticated technology, we now can make well-sealing pistons in as good as perfectly round cylinders, not possible in Watt's days. This allows us to create an under-pressure by pulling out a piston in a cylinder, at far lower power need than for generating steam. For recompression, the atmosphere of course does the same specific work as ...

The Energy conservation law is dependent on Noether's theorem. According to the Noether's theorem, the symmetry must be established for satisfying the conservation law. In other words, if symmetry breaking occurs, the breaking of the conservation law also occurs. Spontaneous symmetry breaking is occurred at phase transition. Namely, Breaking of the Energy conservation law is occurred at phase transition. Or perhaps, this phenomenon predicts the existence of unknown elementary particles or unknown energies.

As an example of the phase transition, there is a phase transition between a ferromagnetic state and a paramagnetic state in a ferromagnetic material. When thermal energy is input to the ferromagnetic material, the ferromagnetic material is changed to the paramagnetic state at temperature above its ...

Building a low-energy, affordable computer network suitable for schools can be a challenge. It has to be reliable, affordable, consume very little energy and yet somehow, it has to be still fit for purpose.

A computer lab for a school environment must allow the user access to basic office type applications, such as spreadsheets, word processors and presentation applications.

Our computer platform supports further education and vocational training. The system is robust and maintenance free so that it can be deployed in remote areas, or in areas where there is no access to maintenance staff. It is also fed from 12V DC so that it can be fed from a car battery or solar panel.

While older, recycled computers ...
